The mighty Varia Suit. An expansion ability of the Chozo Power Suit. Varia grants the suite double the defensive ability and protection from extreme heat and cold.

Samus Arun is the only known living person to use the suit and the expansion. However there are competition, the Space Pirates keep trying to replicate it and it's functions for their troopers, the SA-X (Samus Arun X-Parasite), a complete duplicate of the fully powered suite and finaly the notorious Nack the Weasel had finaly laid his hands on one just recently.

However unknown to many, Varia has a secret... some one messed up it's name from translating it from Chozo, to Japanese, to english. For it's original name was Baria (Barrier), as in it's extra protection it granted. Lucky for them Varia (Variable) also worked out because of it's modular deisgn.
